Meet Eleanor Kelly, the dedicated President of the GFWC Woman's Club of Runnemede, whose journey with the club is marked by a deep commitment to service, a love for community, and a passion for making a difference.
1. How long have you been a member for?
I have been a member since 1995, so for 29 years.
2. What is your favorite part about being a member?
The fun we have working on projects together.
3. Is there any project or initiative you’ve worked on that you are particularly passionate about or proud of?
I am very proud about being able to pull of the club’s inaugural Comedy Night fundraiser.
4. What advice would you give to new members or those thinking of joining?
Join! There is so much laughter, love, and generosity all for many good causes.
5. What is one thing you enjoy doing in your free time?
Reading
6. What is one place you wish you could visit?
I would like to visit the Batso museum as a Lunch & Learn with the club.
7. What is an unusual fact about yourself most people would be surprised to know?
The firm I work for, Kelly Motorsport, owned and raced spring cars with United Racing Club on tracks from Virginia to Canada. The home track was in Bridgeport.
8. What is your profession?
I am an active paralegal.
